Patio restoration
Some patios need a careful repair, not a complete rebuild. We inspect the base, levels, joints and stone before recommending what is worth doing.
Included as standard
A clear scope.
No vague allowances.
- 01 Honest inspection before recommending repair or replacement
- 02 Cleaning method selected for the surface and joint condition
- 03 Loose or sunken slabs lifted and re-bedded where practical
- 04 Failed joints removed and renewed
- 05 Broken sections matched or replaced where material is available
- 06 Optional sealing discussed only when suitable for the paving
How it is built
Repair the cause, not just the appearance.
Cleaning can transform a surface, but it cannot fix a failed bed or poor falls. The assessment tells us which work will genuinely last.
- /01
Inspect
We identify staining, failed joints, loose slabs, movement and drainage issues before choosing the treatment.
- /02
Clean
The surface is cleaned carefully enough to remove growth and grime without needlessly damaging the stone or joints.
- /03
Lift & re-bed
Loose or sunken pieces are lifted, the bed is corrected and the paving is reset to safe, sensible falls.
- /04
Re-point
Failed material is removed and joints are renewed with a product appropriate to the paving and use.
- /05
Protect if useful
Sealing is optional and surface-specific. We recommend it only when it adds real value.
Before you decide
Questions worth asking.
Is restoration always cheaper than replacement?+
Not always. If the base has failed across a large area or the levels are fundamentally wrong, repeated repair can be false economy. We will say so before quoting.
Can you remove black spots and deep stains?+
Many stains improve significantly, but results depend on the material and how long staining has penetrated. We set expectations after inspecting the surface.
Will you match old slabs?+
We try to source the closest available match, but older natural stone and discontinued concrete ranges can vary. Any visible difference is discussed before replacement pieces are fitted.
